EDO TSO is teaming with Data Mining Technologies Inc. (DMT), a leading software publisher of Data Mining Tools. EDO TSO will provide sales, marketing, and technical support for the DMT Nuggets® Data Mining Tools.

The Nuggets Data Mining software enhances and expands EDO TSO's capabilities in offering leading edge information management, knowledge management, document management, and business reporting solutions.

	One definition of data mining is: The extraction of hidden predictive information from large databases. This is a broad definition that enables Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) products and/or statistical packages to qualify as a data mining tools.
	EDO TSO believes that data mining should be more specifically defined as: Unearthing/discovering hidden information automatically; thereby, enabling true knowledge discovery. This definition infers that data mining is data-driven, requires minimal operator input, and is operator-friendly.

EDO TSO choose the Nuggets Data Mining tools because these tools enabled us to provide automatic information and knowledge discovery, an operator-friendly environment with a small learning curve, and cost-effective data mining solutions.
